Postal address cleanup:
Names and delivery addresses are capitalised for better postal readability.
Also increasing readability is the automatic expanding and spacing of slashes and carrigeway name abbreviation.
As an example: the address " 1/152 Smith street " will become: 1 / 152 SMITH ST
Customer Notes:
You can now add notes to any customer within Deskcart.
This is ideal to keep track of customer service issues. The notes are related to the individual customers' acccount and are viewable for any of the purchases made by the same customer.
Edit sales:
Edit sales records quickly right on your desktop, including:
- Changing customer delivery details for the order
- Changing prices and quantities on an order
- Manually adding a new item to the order
- Changing the status of an order (marking invoices 'paid' etc)
All of these changes are uploaded directly back to your online cart.
These changes are then visible to the customer when they log into their
cart account to view their order status.
Limetrade Deskcart also allows editing of the 'Customer Message' which
is then able to be viewed by the customer, which you may use for such
things as leaving the parcel tracking number etc.
(Note: Version 4 CubeCart supports tracking numbers as a new data field,
Limetrade Deskcart supports this data field which can now be entered
and edited within Deskcart)

Sales Exports:
You can save a report of all sold (and paid) items between any 2 dates.
This is saved to a CSV file which you can use in many programs including
Microsoft Excel.
This report is ideal for managers calculating stock ordering predictions.

Another feature is the ability to change the status of any order within DeskCart.
This status change is reflected in the cart order online next time you sync the application. Changing the status of an order to 'Completed' locally will set the 'shipped date' and upload the status and the shipped date to the cart, which is then viewable by the buyer. You can now manage all sales and sales processing offline in bulk without the need to step through each order one at a time online in the admin screen.
Select relevant sales orders:
All sales can be quickly filtered to show only orders of any particular status. This allows you to show all orders paid and ready to ship (status 'processing') with a single click. With this feature you can easily print each invoice for despatch and then change each status to 'compleated', at the same time automatically setting the ship-date. On your next sync with the cart (a single-button click in the program) each order in the cart will be updated to reflect the new status and ship-date.
Basic report / Runsheet:
Print a runsheet of all orders of a particular status.
This can be used to print a list of all 'Processing' orders when printing invoices for each day.
It gives you a runsheet to double check your daily despach of orders, and to write notes (tracking number etc) against each delivery, or just to check off each delivery as it is completed and/or despatched, or collected by the courier etc.
